BIB (Black is Beautiful) celebrates Black beauty through warm brown tones and a vibrant yellow backdrop. The cropped composition follows the curves of a reclining figure, with golden jewellery and yellow clothing bringing warmth and harmony to the scene. Visible brushstrokes give the painting a personal, tactile quality.

There is an ease in the resting hand and relaxed posture, a confidence that feels entirely at home in its own skin. The piece honours the beauty of simply being, giving space to softness, sensuality and self-assurance without the need for explanation.

Beauty in her skin. Confidence in her stillness.
