Lioness

Lioness brings together a woman’s profile and the fierce presence of a roaring lion, traced in fine white chalk over a deep burgundy and black background. The delicate lines emerge subtly from the darkness, inviting a closer look at the intertwined forms and textured surface.

The piece explores feminine strength through the connection between composure and instinct. Her lifted gaze carries a quiet confidence, while the lion gives shape to the fierceness within. The softness of the chalk adds a sense of vulnerability to a portrait built around power.

A calm face. A wild heart. A strength that belongs entirely to her.
